PSMS Medan Empat Asing Merapat

Seusai liburan bulan puasa, PSMS Medan kembali latihan rutin seperti biasanya. Menariknya, jadwal yang ditetapkan pada Senin (16/8) lalu, ternoda. Tak ada pemain PSMS yang hadir di Stadion Teladan. Begitu pun dengan 7 legiun asing yang dijanjikan.

“Anak-anak lagi kecapekan karena baru pulang dari kampungnya masing-masing,” ungkap Sekretaris Umum PSMS Idris SE saat dikonfirmasi.

Beruntung, pada Selasa (17/8) latihan mulai berjalan. Tercatat hanya Ari Yuganda dan Novi Hendriawan yang absen. Ari dikabarkan absen karena terjebak hujan di Lubukpakam, sementara Novi tidak ada konfirmasi. Latihan sendiri dimulai pada pukul 15.40 WIB.

Pada latihan yang digelar di Stadion Teladan itu pun dihadiri pemain asing. Tercatat ada empat pemain asing yang ikut seleksi. Mereka adalah Moukwelle, Klein, Amarildo de Souza, dan William (lengkapnya lihat grafis). Sementara tiga pemain asing lainnya belum juga muncul. “Pemain yang pernah mengikuti seleksi Timnas U-23 Paraguay, Irenio Roberto Acosta, kepastian kedatangannya tanggal 25 Agustus mendatang,” jelas Idris.

Idris menambahkan, keempat pemain yang telah ikut seleksi belum bisa dipastikan akan memperkuat PSMS untuk musim mendatang. “Kualitasnya lumayan, patut dipertimbangkan. Namun, kesepakatan soal mengontrak atau tidak, masih kita tunggu,” timpal Asisten Pelatih Waluyo.

Terkait pembentukan tim, pengurus dan pelatih tampaknya sudah menentukan asisten pelatih baru. Adalah Nasib Iwan yang sebelumnya di PSDS direkrut untuk menjadi pelatih fisik. “Dia memiliki pengalaman yang bisa diandalkan,” ungkap Idris.

Sebelumnya, pihak pengurus sedang melakukan nego soal kontrak pemain. Dikabarkan ada dua jenis kontrak yang ditawarkan. Yakni, kontrak A untuk pemain inti dan kontrak B untuk pemain cadangan. (mag-5/sumutpos)
